¡Hey Cravan! | Constanza Jarpa Luco

¡Hey Cravan! It is a book that pays tribute to the poem and the figure of the poet and proto-Dadaist boxer Arthur Cravan, who disappeared on a ship bound for Argentina one day in November 1918. The book is structured in two parts, one of which is Cravan’s poem Hey! written on the covers in letters stamped one by one with a punch on the cardboard. The inner part is a fictional story about Cravan, a mixture of poet, boxer, and traveler, constructed on two sides. One side is a flag book, where drawings, found images, and collages come together, and the other side is an accordion that repeats the image of the poet and shipwrecks and found images.
