Quizás – Aún – Tal vez | Guillermo Núñez

Smaller version of the artist’s book “Quizás – Aún – Tal vez” that artist Guillermo Núñez launched in May 2017 during the opening of the exhibition ‘4 National Prizes’ held at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Santiago, Chile. This version of 65 signed and numbered copies features drawings, poems and an original drawing signed by the author himself. In the words of Inés Ortega Marquez: “Núñez never abandons his brushes, his paintbrushes, his fine drawing sticks. From his current work, which is diverse, colorful, we have selected a group of small drawings in which he uses pastel, Indian ink, watercolor. Her art is a living art. He fills his sketchbooks with sketches and drawings that he then transfers to paper through mixed techniques, spreading with his gesture stains of color, rubbed by bare hand or with the use of a cloth, and drawing clean and precise lines, perhaps of Zen origin. A writing that sometimes corrects the graphic accident with cancellations, as if he wanted to veil some uncontrollable psychic automatism.”
