Todo en ti fue naufragio | Guillermo Núñez

Todo en ti fue naufragio is a workshop logbook which originates during the realization of a diptych envisioned from the reading of the poem ‘La Canción Desesperada’ of Pablo Neruda, as tribute to the birth of the poet on its 100th anniversary.

Núñez begins the story on Thursday, October 17, 2002, by recalling that this poem was published when Neruda was 20 years old, he also remembers that he had that same age the first time he read ‘Veinte Poemas de Amor’.

This becomes a starting point for a daily work that mixes drawings and texts. In them, Núñez analyzes Neruda’s poem, bringing to presence episodes of his youth and quoting authors who had an impact on him. This work was completed on January 27, 2003.
