Estudios de Exorcismo | Sebastián Arancibia

Exorcism is seen in this work not only from its religious component but from a constant everyday life whose destination is detachment. In this way, the visual writing creates typographical spots that with the passing of the sheets fade away until they disappear.

The author employs the procedure as a liberation ritual of the impact of the verses of Pessoa assumed as existential truths and as an impediment of action.

Together with the sheets there appears a piece of bible sheet in which Genesis 19 is mentioned, in the episode in which Lot´s wife when escaping from Sodom and Gomorra looks back and turns into a salt statue. This, from the underlying catholic logics is an order of ritual procedure.
