Procedimientos de resiliencia cordura | Débora Caro Reyes

Procedimientos de Resiliencia Cordura is a publication by Débora Caro that arises from her work “Procedimientos de Resiliencia”, an installation that contemplated around 400 ceramic chairs. Each one handmade, with different wounds, deformations and the search for repairs through suturing. Stitching as a repetitive and obsessive action reveals the failure of resilience, attempt after attempt there is no total reconstruction, giving signs of an insistent and infinite process.

The artist photographs each armchair, and then makes a selection of 24 to be presented in this leporello.

Each leporello is tied with a suture thread and special editions are accompanied by a ceramic chair.
