Antípoda | Constanza Jarpa Luco
Antípoda is a book that wants to reveal its ending before the beginning. It is an object that explores digging and getting to the bottom of things so that something appears: an image, water, or a blank page that forces you to start over. In Antípoda, the gesture is that of manually digging through 200 bound pages of a blank book with a previously designed drawing on the first page. Using the tip of a punch, the pages were perforated one by one, revealing their reverse layers in a perfect fit between the void and its physical complement, the removed piece, pressed like an island of paper.
