Primera persona plural del futuro simple | Camila Ramírez Gajardo
Primera personal plural del futuro simple (First Person Plural of the Simple Future) is an artist’s book consisting of a set of 13 plates created using graphic strategies found in logical and recreational puzzles. These games, with their autonomous rules and visual content, are appropriate for constructing images and paradoxes around socialist projects, the utopian dimension that drives them, and their failed implementations. This publication can be thought of as a large book of games, contained in a red box, where each page has been extracted, manipulated, and intervened upon using texts and icons to generate an image that challenges a potential and fictional player. The pieces that make up Primera persona plural del futuro simple question the notion of winners and losers, both in the political projects offered by world history, and Chile in particular, and in the productive norms that define and discipline the value of bodies, actions, and objects.
