Borradura de una partitura – Sebastián Barrante

Borradura de una partitura (Erasure of a score) is a graphic work that deepens the explorations around writing and its capacity to carry meaning which the author began with the series “Cartas a Mirtha” (“Letters to Mirtha”).

In this diptych, Barrante works with the underlying message that the scores propose and, as from an act of erasure, puts language and visuality in tension.

The diptych is composed of two identical graphics printed on silkscreen, on one of which the author erases with charcoal.

Publishing of 17 copies.
