Ácratas  | Camila Estrella

Ácratas is an artist’s book born from the homonymous installation made in 2022 by the artist Camila Estrella.
Its parts are made up of shapes, colors, materials and texts used during a long creative process that began with the photographing of a shoe workshop that, after being dismantled, provided the artist with some objects, such as lasts and molds, to later link them to the anarchist ideas so present in independent and self-managed occupations.Researcher Javiera Medina and art historian Andrés Grillo were invited to write for this publication.
