11 Simon – Crubellier | Fernanda Aránguiz

11 Simon-Crubellier is an object-book conceived as a citation to Georges Perec’s “Life A User’s Manual” both in its thematic and formal dimensions. The author takes as reference the names of the rooms that correspond to the common areas of the building indicated in the plan attached at the end of Perec’s novel by decomposing them syllabically. This act of appropriation constitutes an invitation to the reader, proposing the reconstruction of the original words or the creation of new ones with complete freedom.
